Karachi Man Arrested for Abducting and Fatally Assaulting 12-Year-Old Relative

The AVCC police apprehended Furqan and his partner, Farhan, in connection with a horrific crime. Following an extensive search operation, law enforcement recovered the body of the victim, Muhammad Obaid, also known as Ahsan.

On May 8th, Obaid was seized by armed assailants within the area under Mominabad police station’s authority. A kidnapping incident was officially reported following a complaint lodged by the victim’s father, Muhammad Ishtiaq.

After receiving a Rs1.5 million ransom request, the case was referred to the Anti-Violent Crime Cell. Led by CIA DIG, a specialized team assumed control. Through collaboration between AVCC and CPLC, Furqan and Farhan were apprehended in Orangi Town.

The pivotal moment occurred when apprehended suspects guided authorities to the burial spot of the victim in Manghopir’s Khairabad vicinity. AVCC SSP Zafar Siddiqui Changa commended his team’s prompt response, underscoring their dedication to upholding justice.
